About Teresa Taylor

After two decades of inspiring young minds as a middle school teacher, I now spend my days crafting cozy mysteries and children’s adventures from my writing nook on our little hill in Tennessee. But when the weather is nice, you’ll find me setting up camp, kayaking, or discovering hidden trails with my loyal canine companion, Bear. We’re always eager for the next expedition.

As the proud grandmother of seven wonderful grandchildren, I’m constantly collecting experiences to weave into my stories. My grandkids serve as my most honest critics and greatest inspiration—they’ve taught me that the best stories come from genuine curiosity and a love of nature!

My passion for the outdoors has led me to join several women’s camping and travel groups, where I’ve forged unbreakable bonds around campfires under starlit skies. These wilderness excursions often find their way into my mystery novels, where observant readers might recognize a familiar landscape or two.

Whether I’m paddling through misty morning waters in my kayak, hiking ridge trails at sunrise, or plotting the perfect fictional crime, I bring the same sense of adventure and wonder to everything I do. My books, like my life, celebrate curiosity, connection, and the special magic that happens when we step outside our comfort zones.

I believe that every person has stories worth telling and every day holds adventures worth having. I hope to someday share a story with you.
