About Us

We’re two lifelong friends- a retired middle school teacher and a very opinionated border collie named Bear. We’ve traveled many miles as we’ve crossed the country to see some of the greatest attractions. Along the way, we’ve collected stories, investigated historical puzzles, and learned that some of life’s best moments come with a campfire and meeting new friends.

• Book Links: Nothing is more relaxing than relaxing in the quiet of nature to read a good book. Teresa also writes lighthearted whodunits featuring clever glamping grannies who get involved in the craziest mysteries. The series is appropriately named Glamping Grannies.
• Recipes: We’ll share our favorite recipes – from easy campfire meals to favorite make -ahead dishes.
• Destinations and Routes: We’ll share some of our favorite road trips and highlight campgrounds, restaurants, and must see attractions.
• Dog-Friendly Adventures: Bear is our four-legged co-pilot, and he insists we include pet-friendly tops and stories too.

Why Glamping?

Because comfort, creativity, and curiosity belong on the road — just like us. We may be grannies by name, but we’re explorers by nature (and glampers by choice). In our highly decorated campers or tents, we’re proving you’re never too old to hit the road, find a new circle of friends, or start a brand-new chapter.
