šŸ›ļø Where Should the Dog Sleep in a Camper?

Let’s talk about creature comforts. Specifically—dog beds in the camper.

Some of my canine friends travel full-time with their people. I’ve seen photos of pups riding in baskets up the mountains in Tennessee and lounging in their very own camp chairs on the beach in Florida. Two guys I know even have leather recliners. Recliners! They watch TV from them and nap all day like kings. It looks amazing, and I can’t wait to try it. But there’s just one problem: I can’t find the perfect place to sleep in our camper.

Bear's comfy chair won't work as a dog bed in the camper

See, I’ve got a comfy chair at home. It fits my body perfectly so I can enjoy long, long naps. When I curl up just right, my head rests on the arm like a built-in pillow. Everyone who visits knows—that chair is mine. Sure, I’ll sleep on the dog bed… but it’s not the most luxurious spot. Especially if Ellie farted on it. Honestly, my favorite place to sleep is Mom’s king sized bed when Dad’s working nights. I get a whole side to myself, and it’s like snoozing on a cloud–except for when she’s snoring. That’s really annoying.

So here’s the issue: our camper has one bed and a dinette that turns into a sort of bed. My big chair won’t fit. I don’t even think the dog bed fits—it’s a tiny camper! So unless I want to curl up in the shower stall or under that ridiculous table bed, I’m going to have to snuggle up with Mom and hope Dad stays home. (He probably will.)
